What is In-B-TWEEN?

In-B-TWEEN is a specialized program for pre-school aged children preparing for kindergarten who would benefit from a sensory rich environment.  Using California kindergarten readiness standards, In-B-TWEEN will address children’s needs for dramatic play, music, movement, academics, social-emotional, fine and gross motor skills.

How is In-B-TWEEN different from TWISPP?

In-B-TWEEN will focus on preparing children for kindergarten using state standards in the areas of academics, language, creative arts, science, fine and gross motor and social skills.  While we will have a therapeutic consultant, the In-B-TWEEN program will maintain a 5:1 ratio of children to teachers and aides, and therapists will not be regularly present in class.  We will still attend field trip and other special events and of course, we will play in the gym!

Is my child a “TWEEN-er”?

In order to determine if your child is appropriate for In-B-TWEEN, ask yourself the following questions:

• Is your child between 3 and 5 years old?
• Is your child able to participate safely in a 5:1 teacher-student ratio?
• Is your child able to follow simple directions independently?
