Therapy West Infant Specialized Play Program (TWISPP) is a center-based early intervention group program with support from specialists in the fields of occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech therapy, and mental health. It is a program for children who are at risk for developmental delays, children with identified disorders (such as Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, autism, etc.), and for children who are typically developing. Children range from 18 months to 3 years of age. The child-to-staff ratio is a maximum of three children per one adult.

The emphasis of this program is on prevention, early intervention, and enrichment in a playful and supportive environment. TWISPP emphasizes the importance of the family by including parent training and parent participation in the development of the child’s program. Parents are also invited to participate in the monthly field trips, natural environment visits, and parent support groups.

TWISPP classes run six mornings a week, Monday through Saturday, from 9:00am to 11:45am. Afternoon classes are available Monday through Friday, 2:00 - 4:45. Most children are funded through the regional center and attend two to three sessions per week. Private pay options are also available.
